About

all-or-nothing, bottom-hitting dieter to behavioral nutrition expert...

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

Who I help…

“I struggle with eating food normally. I don’t know how to just eat. Sometimes I am really good and other times I can blow it all to hell then I try another ‘Monday start’ diet. I don’t want to eat carrots all day. Sometimes I want to eat cake all day. Most of the time I start my day off amazing and as the day progresses or when I am alone or stressed, I blow it all to hell. Sometimes I eat at night. Then I feel bad about it the next day. Sometimes I believe people are starring at my fat rolls and laughing. Sometimes I want to cry. Is this it for me? It can’t be. I won’t accept that as fact. I don’t want to struggle or fight with my food anymore. I want to live a balanced life with food. I want to be a happy, healthy weight for my body. I want to love my food and I want to love my body. I want to feel beautiful in my clothes, all of the time. I don’t know exactly how to achieve this balance on my own but I know and I believe something or someone is out there that can help me. I want my life back, badly. I want to choose my life, not let food choose it for me. I want to break these binding habits and I want to live my dreams. I am ready to choose my purposeful, extraordinary, and intentful life.”

I help the yo-yo dieter with the all-or-nothing mentality break free, define and find their middle ground for their extraordinary life. Not the typical nutritionist or dietitian…I teach HOW to eat, not what to eat.

“Woman, you are amazing! Your profound impact on each and every one of us was deep and lasting and you’ve made such a difference in our lives … Can’t you just feel it when something big is happening?? It’s funny, the phrase “life changing” is not only over used, it’s often not the case… BUT when something IS life changing… truly, authentically, at-it’s-core life changing, well then there is just no other way to describe it. You created paradigm shifts in us, and that’s where REAL life-changing change begins to happen. Simply put…. you, my dear, have been a gift. And I am so grateful.”

Wendy Flejter, PhD - Director of Genetics at Caris Life Sciences

“Maya is fantastic! After being diagnosed with a thyroid disorder and gaining a substantial amount of weight, I tried every diet possible without luck, until I met Maya. She worked with me to develop a simple, holistic, nutritious and “clean” diet of foods that I like, and I shed the excess pounds at a healthy rate. Maya is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, and has a great sense of humor. She truly lives her passion for food, health and nutrition which is contagious and inspiring. Whether you are seeking help with a diet or looking for simple and delicious healthy meals, be sure to visit her on facebook at “The Intentful Chef” and her website; www.IntentfulChef.com for fabulous recipes, video clips and helpful nutrition tips. You are going to love this little ray of sunshine!”
